Job Summary: Here at The C. Harper Auto Group we are looking for an Experienced Automotive Body Shop Manager. The Automotive Body Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Body Shop. This includes managing the staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining safety standards, and meeting financial goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive body repair, strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering excellence, they will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, organized, and reliable more then all. This person must also be comfortable working on multiple projects at once and managing team of Automotive Body Shop employees.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Oversee all body shop operations, including workflow, staff management, and customer service.
• Ensure all repair work meets the highest quality standards.
• Manage and train a team of technicians and support staff.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and adjusters to streamline the repair process.
• Monitor inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase shop efficiency and profitability.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Prepare and manage the body shop budget, including forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; (college degree or vocational training / certification in Automotive Repair preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Automotive Body Shop environment, with at least 2 Years in a Managerial Role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software related to Body Shop management.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
