Job Summary: The C. Harper Auto Group is looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician. This positions duties and responsibilities are to maintain and keep all buildings and grounds of each location in top condition, to ensure full and productive use of the C. Harper Auto Group facilities, and to maintain standards set by company guidelines and regulations. This applicant will have labor duties including; grass cutting, snow removal, operations of a large vehicles, and can be responsible for moving and transporting the dealership's vehicles. Along with daily routine maintenance in all of our dealerships there will be other leadership responsibilities for the individual to maintain and be responsible for such as assisting with issues from multiple sources, and helping other team members with completing there tasks or objectives.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Checks lighting fixtures and changes/replaces light bulbs.
• Participates in a variety of general maintenance tasks.
• Performs minor wall/drywall repair and painting; minor plumbing related repairs (faucet washers, clogged toilets, fountains, irrigation, etc).
• Maintains parking lots and signage, clears storm water grates, paints curbs and stripes lots, and fills potholes.
• Transports tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles at times with the tow truck.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and methods of landscaping and maintenance of lawns and formal plantings.
• Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Ability to operate riding and push mower, power tiller, power edger, weed whip, blower, sprayer, tractor, skid steer loader, dump-bed truck, and basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate a large vehicle.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance of grounds-related equipment.
• Ability to work in safe and efficient manner.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to bend at waist and knee, push and pull up to 50 pounds, standard range of motion, physical abilities to climb stairs while carrying up to 25 pounds, and operate light machinery. This job is subject to the environment and may require the use of some special equipment.
