C&O Services, Inc. is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Edgewater, MD

Diverse, woman-owned general contracting company with great opportunities for growth seeking a full tile Administrative assistant. Company is looking for an excellent communicator that can stay organized, multitask, and is a self-starter.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Handle general office paperwork and provide administrative support for Accounting department
  • Setup and maintain files
  • Data entry, compute and record numerical data
  • Must be able to effectively communicate professionally via phone, email and in person
  • Create invoices to send to customers
  • Conduct phone calls throughout the entire day: recruiting/cold calls, phone screens and interviews
  • Cummunicate with customers as needed to address questions/concerns with billing
  • Receive and process payments from customers
  • Vouch credit card statements to receipts
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Soft Skill Requirements

  • Team Player looking to join a fun and fast paced organization
  • Fluent in English and Spanish is a huge bonus
  • Leadership qualities
  • Must be comfortable on the phone and have time management/prioritization skills
  • Must have exceptional and intuitive customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office (Word and Excel), Quickbooks etc.
  • Multi tasking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Fast-learner and ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter / proactive and take ownership of assignments
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to meet individual deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with team to help them meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Quickbooks is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
