JOB DESCRIPTION
The Expansion Account Manager is responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and foster loyalty. The EAMs three keys of focus will be the current utilization of products, upselling into new products, and reducing churn/renewing the customers by ensuring they are happy and healthy. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote the company’s products to the appropriate target market within the customer base that will address customers’ specific needs and problems
  • Keep accounts and contacts up to date with great data hygiene within Salesforce allowing for the right frequency of touchpoints and engagements
  • Manage the renewal process for each of your assigned accounts to ensure there is no disruption in service and clients are satisfied
  • Facilitate and complete outbound & inbound client calls, meetings, product demos, and prospecting to drive expansion sales
  • Cultivate positive interactions and relationships with internal teams to evaluate strategies and ensure the clients are properly cared for
  • Collect and analyze customer engagement data to provide valuable insights, enabling the creation of customized experiences for niche customers and the building of brand loyalty
  • Provide continuous feedback to management on successes, challenges, and ideas to increase expansion opportunities. 
  • Engage and nurture long-term relationships with clients
  • Learn and understand client objectives/goals, and suggest appropriate improvements such as relevant products, services, and upgrades that can meet clients’ current and future needs
  • Identify and promote cross-sell and upsell opportunities to achieve business goals
  • Monitor client demand, usage numbers, and overall account metrics 
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sales foundation with account management experience.
  • Great communication skills and ability to maintain conversations with clients in a diplomatic and goal-focused manner. 
  • Good analytical and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated 
  • Familiarity and experience with CRM and campaign platforms/tools.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

This is a full-time remote position located in the United States.

BENEFITS & COMPENSATION

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $35,000-$40,000 commissions. OTE (base commissions) for this position is $75,000 - $100,000, but top performers can exceed OTE based on performance. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • The Align Technologies benefit program includes health, dental, and vision coverage. In addition, the company offers disability, life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
