Generous Sign-On Bonus: **$10,000**

Pay: Starting at $29-36 hourly DOE

Shift: Full-Time Day Shift 8-5, Monday to Friday. On call or weekends as needed.

Location: 513 Pineview Avenue, Glencoe, AL 35905

As a Unit Manager in a long-term-care facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your experience in nursing, knowledge of laboratory procedures, and ability to provide health coaching will contribute to the success of our healthcare team. Here’s what you will do as an RN Unit Manager:

  • Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff in a healthcare setting
  • Oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to established protocols and standards
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed
  • Assist with patient assessments, including airway management, suture removal, and aseptic technique
  • Coordinate and facilitate staff training and development programs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes .

Requirements:

  • State Valid Nurse License in good standing (RN) (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Long term care experience (1 year required)
  • Nursing supervisory experience (1 year required)
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and ability to interpret test results
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Athenahealth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide health coaching to patients and families
