WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT The Clinic Supervisor Ambulatory Services manages the day-to-day operations and activities for the clinic. This position is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and directing the activities of clinic employees, including overseeing employees' activities to make sure they are of sufficient quality and meet the standards of all applicable laws and regulations and identifying training and development needs. The Supervisor also oversees the scheduling of patients and ensures an efficient patient flow in the clinical area, and ensures that reports, lab results and follow-ups are sent out to appropriate parties, such as companies and patients when appropriate. The Office Supervisor performs daily tasks in the practice, which may include clinical or non-clinical operations, and provides input to leadership regarding staff performance. This position also works to troubleshoot and resolve various clinical or non-clinical issues and will provide administrative support, to include but not limited to, answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments. The Clinic Supervisor strives to improve the health status, wellness, and quality of life for our customers, employees, and the community through disease prevention, health promotion, and injury care. This is provided through quality assessments, clinical care, testing, phlebotomy, injections, injury treatment, and patient education. The Office Supervisor will provide additional support as assigned.
