This position will be based at Franciscan Health Lafayette East, joining a group of 15 providers covering a broad range of patients. Provider will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members and deliver the highest quality of patient care. The Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) II works under the Medical Direction Model with anesthesiologists to ensure the safe administration of anesthesia during surgery and/or gastroenterology procedures. Provides patient care before, during and after anesthesia. Educates patients regarding anesthesia, including possible contraindications or side effects of anesthesia.
