C2 Technology Group is Hiring a Human Resources and Payroll Administrator Near Montgomery, AL

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Human Resources/Payroll Professional to join our team.

**Position Overview:

We are looking for a very positive and energetic individual who is detail-oriented, and who has heavy experience in the HR/Payroll field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Resources and payroll administration, as well as comprehensive knowledge of payroll law, regulations, taxes, employee benefits and excellent communication skills. Benefit administration and Worker's Compensation experience is a requirement.

**Responsibilities:

- Assist with timekeeping

- Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements

- Maintain accurate records of employee earnings, deductions, and hours worked

- Handle payroll and human resource inquiries from employees and management

- Prepare and submit payroll reports, 401K deposits and tax filings as required

- Reconcile weekly benefit deductions

- Manage annual open enrollment for benefits

- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations

- Process new hires and assist with their onboarding

- Handle special payroll/HR projects and initiatives as assigned

- Manage Workers Compensation policies/audits/claims

- Other various tasks requested by team

**Requirements:

- Certified Payroll experience is a plus

- Construction industry experience is a plus

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll & HR administration

- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word & Teams)

- Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,357.00 - $66,135.00 per year
