IT Business Analyst
Location: Marshal, MN or Bloomington, MN
Hybrid: 1-2 days every other week

We are seeking a dynamic IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in documentation, email campaigns, marketing, and mobile application projects within an Agile environment. The role involves gathering and documenting requirements, assisting with user stories, and having some testing experience. Experience with custom website projects is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Prepare detailed user guides, manuals, and system documentation.
Email Campaigns & Marketing:
  • Assist in planning and executing email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
Mobile Application Projects:
  • Work on mobile application projects from concept to deployment.
  • Gather and document user requirements and business needs.
  • Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into functional specifications.
Agile Environment:
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in the creation and prioritization of user stories and product backlogs.
  • Ensure all requirements are well-documented and understood by the development team.
Testing:
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and document defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
Custom Website Projects (Nice to Have):
  • Experience working on custom website development projects.
  • Gather and document requirements specific to website functionalities and user experience.
  • Collaborate with web developers and designers to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience in documentation, email campaigns, marketing, and mobile application projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Some experience with software testing and QA processes.
  • Experience with custom website projects is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)) are a plus.
