Job Description
St. Mary's Medical Center seeks afull-time CMA or LPN to work in the HIMG Perioperative Clinic.
Theposition will maintain a high quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers and patients through an office oriented environmentCandidates should anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients, employees and co-workers. As such a pleasant personality is essential for this position.
Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Hospital at all times
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.
• Answering phones Making appointments
• Greeting interacting with patients customers
• Initial patient screenings
• Pulling and filing patient charts
• Taking blood pressure medical histories
• Assisting doctors
• Calling or faxing prescriptions
• Giving injections or drawing blood

Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have their active Medical Assistant Certification or active WV LPN License as well as active BLS certification.
