PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Must comply with all aspects of safety and be extremely safety conscious Have troubleshooting skills in the following areas: Primarily Electrical, PLC’s and pneumatic & hydraulic controls. Pipe fitting and installation (air lines, water piping, electrical conduit) Willing to work weekends and odd hours as required Able to follow a routine schedule of preventative maintenance on machinery Able to read and follow schematics, parts and instruction manuals Great problem solving/decision making skills Team attitude and ability to work with team members Safely Operate and run, any power tool in shop The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees in this position and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of all responsibilities. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Prefer mechanical and electrical knowledge, vocational trade school or work experience in the maintenance field Must be able to work comfortably at heights Ability to read/write/communicate in English Required to effectively communicate equipment issues (before/during /after shift) (shift to shift / dept. to dept. / trade to management) Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling On occasions, required to work in extreme conditions (hot/cold/rain/noise)(indoor/outdoor) May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs. as well as push/pull carts Hand dexterity and strength Overtime is required, including weekends and holidays sometimes with little or no advance notice May be required to work a flexible schedule It is an essential function of this position that you report to work on a regular basis This is a full time position on 3rd Shift.
