Principal Functional ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Analyst specializing in ERP consolidation, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our ERP consolidation initiative. Working closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for analyzing current ERP systems, identifying opportunities for consolidation and standardization, and developing strategies to streamline business processes. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to ERP consolidation, including finance, supply chain, operations, and other functional areas.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of existing ERP systems, including data structures, workflows, integrations, and customizations, to identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and areas for consolidation.
  • Developing and documenting detailed business process models, use cases, and functional specifications to support the consolidation effort.
  • Working closely with IT teams and external consultants to evaluate ERP consolidation options, including system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, and recommending the most suitable solution based on business needs and technical requirements.
  • Facilitating workshops, meetings, and training sessions to communicate the benefits of ERP consolidation and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for the ERP consolidation initiative.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to business users during the ERP consolidation process, including user acceptance testing, data validation and migration, and post-implementation support, including data audit reports.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or Information Systems related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on ERP systems and consolidation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle, Unidata, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
