Cabinetworks Group is Hiring a Quality Assurance Technician Near Logansport, IN
This position ensures that manufacturing processes and product meet company and customer expectations. The role includes auditing raw materials, in-process controls, and finished product. In addition, the position includes supporting correction action and continuous improvement in alignment with the Cabinetworks Operating System (COS).
Primary Responsibilities
- Sustain the quality management system in partnership with Operations
- Maintain systems to specification and standards (customer and 3rd party) relating to activities and products
- Maintain systems to ensure performance against established standards
- Monitor and audit performance (in specific areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate according to performance levels
- Communicate improvement and awareness of quality issues across assigned departments.
- Implement changes in standards (internally) and performance against standards.
- Perform against agreed targets within policies and standards.
- Complete raw material and finished good audits and testing.
Essential Qualifications AND SKILLS
- High school Diploma and/or bachelor’s degree
- Ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively
- Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis skills (Why5, Fishbone, etc…)
- Perform products and process audits to ensure Quality Management System (QSM) compliance
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities in ahigh energy production environment
- Computer literacy including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Prefer ASQ Certification: CQE, CQM, CQA, CQT, CRE
- Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO-9001, ISO-14001, QS9000)
