Cabinetworks Group is Hiring a Quality Assurance Technician Near Logansport, IN

Job DescriptionThe Culver, IN location is looking to hire a full-time Quality Assurance Technician.
This position ensures that manufacturing processes and product meet company and customer expectations. The role includes auditing raw materials, in-process controls, and finished product. In addition, the position includes supporting correction action and continuous improvement in alignment with the Cabinetworks Operating System (COS).
Primary Responsibilities
  • Sustain the quality management system in partnership with Operations
  • Maintain systems to specification and standards (customer and 3rd party) relating to activities and products
  • Maintain systems to ensure performance against established standards
  • Monitor and audit performance (in specific areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate according to performance levels
  • Communicate improvement and awareness of quality issues across assigned departments.
  • Implement changes in standards (internally) and performance against standards.
  • Perform against agreed targets within policies and standards.
  • Complete raw material and finished good audits and testing.
Additional duties and responsibilities as requested by the quality Assurance Manager and/or Supervisor
Essential Qualifications AND SKILLS
  • High school Diploma and/or bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively
  • Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis skills (Why5, Fishbone, etc…)
  • Perform products and process audits to ensure Quality Management System (QSM) compliance
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities in ahigh energy production environment
  • Computer literacy including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
  • Prefer ASQ Certification: CQE, CQM, CQA, CQT, CRE
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO-9001, ISO-14001, QS9000)
