The Maintenance Technician will be part of our great team and will be responsible for general equipment and facility maintenance for our non-union kitchen cabinet assembly plant. They will follow diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer's specifications and federal, state and local city codes in maintaining, fixing and troubleshooting our plant equipment and machines. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities Include: Responsible for the operational start-up and shut down of facility; including alarm system, lights, compressors, dust collectors and other miscellaneous equipment Perform maintenance throughout the facility including; troubleshooting, disassembly, repair/rebuilds to all manufactured specifications and federal/state/local codes as required Work in conjunction with other maintenance personnel on daily assigned scheduled and non-scheduled projects as required Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC and light construction work and building repairs Requirements Include: Minimum of 2 years of technical training and 1 to 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician or equivalent At least 2 years of Machine repair experience in wood finishing and milling equipment and CNC machining equipment a plus Knowledge of construction techniques and ability to understand and read blue prints required Excellent problem solving skills and ability to examine machinery and mechanical equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot problems required Willing to work mandatory overtime as needed Strong interpersonal and teaming skills required Experience with industrial painting operations a plus, with a working knowledge of power and free conveyor systems Experience in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics and welding preferred Starting pay $31.34/hr.
