Cablenet Aerospace is a growing Aerospace contract manufacturer supplying ground support equipment and inflight cable assemblies to the industry’s top companies.
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, maintaining the high standards required by our AS9100 certification. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize production processes, ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Design and Optimization: Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure the highest quality standards.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all production processes comply with AS9100 standards and other regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Production Planning: Collaborate with the production team to create detailed production plans that align with project timelines and customer requirements.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to the production team, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve overall production efficiency.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of production processes, changes, and improvements in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
Training: Train and mentor production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes into production.
Additional duties may be assigned if required.
