It is the responsibility of the Nurse Manager to provide leadership and act as a role model for all personnel in the planning and delivery of resident care. The Nurse Manager works with the nursing staff to plan, give and evaluate nursing care based upon the needs and responses of the resident. The Nurse Manager arranges with other departments and agencies to provide coordinated services to residents. The Nurse Manager must lead by example.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write in a manner that conforms to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
