What You’ll Get to Do:

The SAFFIRE Task Order 3 Agile Program Manager will be responsible for leading efforts to develop and deploy next generation GIS capabilities to the intelligence community. This task order provides critical tools for Geospatial analysts to aid in support of our overall national security on a day-to-day basis.

Responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products. These solutions or products typically encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines and may require hardware, aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized engineering domain knowledge. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical specifications. In addition, you will also:

  • Coordinate across multiple SAFe release trains and other task orders to ensure scope is executed within the cost and schedule constraints
  • Work with program, product and engineering leadership to identify and plan efforts, eliminate barriers, and deliver capabilities to the users
  • Coordinate with government leadership and stakeholders on the current status
  • Manage contract actions including RFCs and ECPs, including driving ROM and proposal efforts
  • Work with Business Management to drive staff planning and budget planning

How you’ll do it:  

  • You are a U.S. Citizen with active DoD Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
  • Capitalize on your specific knowledge and prior experience, training, and education in software development, cloud architectures, operations and sustainment, building effective teams, and technical management
  • Have a great attitude, enjoy working with talented coworkers, and demonstrate an aptitude to learn and continuously improve
  • Lead by empowering the engineering team through servant leadership and by breaking down barriers so that the team can execute with minimal external interruptions
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
