SENIOR LOGISTICS ANALYST Job Category: Logistics Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * CACI has an opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst to support logistics efforts under our USFFC NFL II contract at COMNAVAIRLANT Norfolk VA. What You'll Get to Do: * Make necessary decisions that prioritize expedited delivery of necessary parts, while providing valuable insight to the end use. * Assist in tracking and expediting the shipment of all CASREPs, NMCS/PMCS, 706s/707s, NORS/ANORs, Broad Arrow, Awaiting Parts (AWP), cannibalizations and associated requisitions for Platforms, Aircraft, Systems, Equipment, and associated components in support of NOF units.
* Prepare daily Cargo, Scheduled Events, and Unit's Movement Morning Report. Screen all shipments made by units to ensure adherence to TOT and AMC guidelines and instructions. Assist government personnel with the location and tracking of material while in transit, providing up-to-date arrivals and departures of flight missions. Provide training and assistance to expediting personnel.
* Provide subject matter and technical expertise while attending logistical meetings to collect information, review, validate and provide analysis of business processes and associated data.
* Prepare draft messages, reports, briefs, and presentations for senior level management. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Active DOD Secret security clearance
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management or related business discipline and minimum of eight years of experience in a combination of Navy logistics and Navy AIS management.
* As a substitute for education, eight years of experience in a combination of Navy Logistics, AIS management, inventory management, and the functionality of Navy logistics and AISs. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category.
* Familiarity with Navy Aviation supply and maintenance relationships, organization, and management databases is highly desired; possess strong verbal skills to convey analysis results and recommendations.
