We are seeking a House Manager with experience running a sober living home in Phoenix, AZ, one with a passion to help others with their recovery journey efforts. Candidates should show adequate knowledge of running a sober living/group home and knowledge of industry standards of policies and procedures.

This is a live in position with room/board paid by the company along with a weekly salary. There is a bedroom and a private bathroom onsite for the manager at the property.

Qualifications:

• Must be sober for at least 12 months
• Have outstanding planning, organizational, communication and people skills.
• Extensive knowledge of working a 12-step program will be an advantage.
• Experience with people who struggle with addiction and mental health issues, preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, a Class-C passenger driving license, a good driving record and be willing to transport residents in company vehicle.
• Must be able to obtain or have a level one fingerprint clearance card.
• Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a CPR card
• Must have Narcan training certification.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Orient new residents to the house rules, regulations and the community as a whole.
• Prepare rooms/living area for new residents, including but not limited to laundry, bedding and cleaning.
• Develop and maintain a supportive community for people in recovery.
• Provide peer support services to residents.
• Plan, organize and lead community activities.
• Plan, organize and lead residents cleaning assignments and activities.
• Facilitate weekly community meeting for residents.
• Transport residents as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of safety procedures for emergency situations.
• Oversee, manage and maintain records for all safety drills
• Facilitate tours and inspections whenever needed.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with residents, families, referral agencies, neighbors and other community resources.
• Provide regular written recordkeeping/documentation.
• Administer weekly resident drug screens

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
