CADENCE BANK is Hiring an Operations Manager II Near Tupelo, MS

What The Role IsThe ACH Operations Manager II will be responsible for oversight, coordination, first line management and day to day operations of the ACH (Automated Clearing House) Operations team. In addition, the manager will represent the team on process improvement projects, new initiatives, risk management, and contribute to overall strategy. The manager is expected to be a subject matter expert in all phases of the work that the team is performing and manage the team to execute daily production. The manager will monitor team SLA's and assist with any roadblocks preventing the SLA from being met. The ACH Operations Manager II will work closely with front line service teams, LOB Partners including IT, and multiple vendors.
How You Will Make An Impact
  • Direct contributions to key business outcomes such as day to day ACH payments operations, client satisfaction, achieving SLA targets and fostering a culture of performance and process improvement
  • Be a subject matter expert on all ACH Payment policies, procedures and end to end integration
  • Create, maintain and process monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Collaborate with vendors regarding testing, system upgrades and issue resolution
  • Write, update, maintain and adhere to ACH Operations procedures
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships with business partners vital to improving process and procedures
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Senior Management to provide updates on goals, SLA’s, issues/resolutions, staffing
  • Identify and implement ways to increase efficiencies and processes
  • Spend time side by side with the team to improve end to end process and production
  • Be knowledgeable of and adhere to related rules and regulations
  • Exhibit creativity identifying and evaluating growth strategies
  • Must be proactive in managing escalated issues and ensuring all necessary steps have been taken towards resolution
  • Work closely with Audit to ensure operational soundness
  • Administrator of all ACH payment systems
  • Hiring, training, and scheduling teammates for work processes
  • Coach, council and develop the talent on the team
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the ACH staff
Who You Are
  • Business professional with integrity, honesty, and capable of handling confidential information
  • 5- 8 years ACH payments experience
  • 3- 5 years management experience
  • Ability to effectively design and implement process changes
  • Proactively identify improvements needed and implement improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of PEP software preferred
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with teammates and other departments
  • Proactivate and self motivated
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Excel and Google
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Excellent work ethic with a strong ability to multitask
  • Strong problem solving skills when responding to internal and external requests
  • Knowledge of general ACH operational processing concepts
  • Ability to be able to adapt to change, work in a fast paced, detail oriented environment
  • Knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations
  • Develop a continuous program of self-education and improvement
  • Abide by the policies and procedures approved by the Bank
  • AAP and/or APRP certifications are preferred
