Cadence Silicon Solutions Group is looking for a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager for its Consumer PHY and Controller IP portfolio. The ideal candidate will have prior successful design experience in consumer protocols (e.g., SerDes, MIPI, USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt™) and have worked in a product management/product marketing role.

- Drive consumer IP products roadmap and definition based on market research, competitive analysis, market segmentation, and SWOT analysis.
- Define and execute a competitive marketing strategy for consumer IP products by understanding customer roadmaps and industry requirements.
- Work with sales, engineering, program management and application engineering to drive product success at various customers.
- Develop marketing requirements and work with engineering teams to define a product portfolio.
- Lead development of technical marketing and sales collateral
- Author and produce competitive sales tools in the form of presentations and briefs.
- Communicate and evangelize products at industry events and on social media.
- Ability to develop or recognize creative solutions to opportunities and problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- 2 year SerDes PHY design experience in mixed-signal and/or analog
- 5 years of experience in hardware of IP design with emphasis on consumer interfaces
- Demonstrate aptitude to quickly comprehend complex hardware and software solutions
- 3 years of experience in a product marketing organization is a plus
- MBA (Masters in Business Administration) or MS in a technical field with solid business aptitude is desired but not a hard requirement
- Understanding of consumer and automotive applications
- Integration of IP in SoC and board/package interactions
- Experience in participating in standard body working groups
- Knowledge of the standard certification programs
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Past employment in a customer-facing role
