Job Summary

The Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical and electronic control systems. This role involves working closely with machine operators and other maintenance employees in a fast-paced industrial environment. Pay is negotiable.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Perform periodic tests and checks of all electrical equipment.
• Tear down equipment, rebuild, and replace defective parts and components such as motors, gearboxes, clutches, and bearings as needed.
• Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Work safely, accurately, quickly, and independently to keep equipment operating.
• Install electrical wiring systems to handle required loads for various machines.
• Work closely with production personnel on equipment repairs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training; exposure to processing machinery
• 2 years of related experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience in a commercial laundry desirable but not required
• Must be able to work varied shifts and days
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere
• Must work well under pressure
• Must have a valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
