QA & Tech Services Manager of the future. We are looking for the right person to head quality assurance, R&D, and compliance initiatives as our company expands into version 2.0.

Job Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to

• Lead QA team efforts while coordinating with with Production to optimize results
• Spearhead audit completions such as BRC, PVP, Food Defense, and others
• Manage Quality Assurance functions to ensure elite performance standards and regulatory compliance
• Maintain HACCP plan and update as company expands
• Develop new product specifications, labels, ingredients, and formulations
• Conduct department inspections with written reports of findings and coordination corrective action as required.
• Ensure food standard compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP and company policy.
• Monitor inspection of all incoming materials, ensuring proper rotation of same.
• Enforce GMP/HACCP standards and company policy at all times.
• Implement training of team members to ensure safety and achieve performance standards

Physical Requirements :

• Reaching with hands and arms throughout shift.
• Ability to use hands and fingers.
• Ability to see, hear and talk.
• Occasionally required to walk, climb and/or balance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications :

• 4-year College or university program certification; or two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Familiar with state and federal food processing regulations.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and at times independently.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
