**Overview**

**_What Youll Be Doing_**

As a highly motivated, mid-level policy and financial analyst, youll be joining Cadmus rapidly growing practice supporting contracts with EPA and other government clients in the areas of drinking water, water quality, and climate resilience. We will be supporting our clients in an unprecedented time in America to substantially improve Americas water infrastructure and advance equity and reduce the risks of climate change. Youll be working in a team-oriented environment providing financial, economic, and policy analysis support, as well as project management and coordination support to help meet Cadmus high standards of excellence.

This position can be based out of Cadmus offices in Arlington, VA; Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Waltham, MA; Helena, MT; or Santa Monica, CA. A fully remote position may be considered depending on candidate qualifications. Some domestic travel may be required to support our EPA clients.

**Responsibilities**

Provide policy or financial analysis on issues related to drinking water, wastewater, or storm-water utility financing, sustainability, and resilience to climate change.

Provide policy or financial analysis on infrastructure grant programs to help EPA achieve priorities of recent infrastructure funding, such as improving access to clean drinking water across the country, replacing lead service lines, advancing social equity and environmental justice, and making Americas water infrastructure more resilient.

Conduct data analyses, literature searches and reviews on technical topics to support policy initiatives and assess the impacts of policy decisions.

Provide project management support:

Provide strategic thinking in support of client initiatives.

Manage and supervise analyses and product development for EPA and other government clients.

Ensure client satisfaction across multiple projects in a program.

Facilitate information sharing and planning across projects and teams.

Support the efforts of multiple project managers.

Write or edit guidance documents, reports, case studies, presentations, and other documents.

**Qualifications**

**Required Qualifications:**

Successful candidates will have a professional demeanor and will have distinguished themselves with academic and professional excellence and a clearly demonstrated work ethic. They should be highly motivated to perform and learn, able to work collaboratively and independently, detail-oriented, comfortable speaking in public, and able to manage assigned tasks and projects from start to finish with input from supervisors. Candidates should also possess exceptional research, oral and written communication, and analytical skills, enabling them to support Cadmus mission to successfully meet clients needs.

BA/BS and at least five years work experience in environmental management, public policy, public administration, finance, municipal administration, or a similar role.

Understanding of how to apply basic statistical, financial, and economic methods to answer policy questions. Knowledge of basic principles of public financing and common financing instruments is preferred.

Ability to conduct research and collect and evaluate data in support of data-driven analyses and reports.

Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills, and experience producing reports that clearly communicate technical analyses and results for the general public. Public speaking experience preferred.

Experience using Excel, STATA, R, or other software to analyze data.

Experience managing projects and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Candidate must be willing/able to travel occasionally if required.

Candidates must be a US Citizen or U.S Permanent Resident.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $70,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
