Job SummaryCaerus Oil and Gas Company is seeking a highly skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our team in Vernal, UT. The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, ensuring that they have the tools and resources they need to be productive. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrimary:
Provide first-level support to employees experiencing technical issues with their computers or other devices
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
Respond to support requests via phone, email, remote control, and in-person interactions
Document and track support requests using our ticketing system
Identify and escalate more complex issues to higher-level support teams as necessary
Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software, including computer cloning
Perform spyware/malware and virus removal
Support smartphones and mobile computing devices such as tablets
Secondary:
Provide remote IT support to travelling staff, field users and branch offices.
Assist other IT team members with other IT related issues
Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of the Manager of IT. Other Duties And Responsibilities
Maintain and repair technological equipment, including (but not limited to); desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
Troubleshoot network connectivity and remote access issues
Active Directory user account management
Install and configure software/drivers
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Respond to daily helpdesk requests
Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of relevant help desk or technical support experience with in-person iteractions.
Strong knowledge base of Windows operating systems
Broad understanding of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft 365
Knowledge of computer hardware
Knowledge of online technical resources and ability to research problem resolutions
Outstanding oral communication skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Skilled at managing multiple priorities
CompTIA A certification preferred
Experience with Microsoft PowerShell preferred
Previous oil & gas industry experience preferred
The exceptional candidate will have experience with IP radios and microwave communications.
Education
Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Working conditions
Consistent with that of a normal work environment.
Ability to routinely lift up to 50lbs.
Travel to Caerus offices and field locations is required.
