We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic catering and restaurant team.
As a key member of our kitchen crew, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding our restaurant's values of excellence in food safety, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, food shopping, and inventory management.
- Help with catering events, ensuring that all food is served fresh and at the correct temperature.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Handle food safely and efficiently, ensuring that all food is stored, handled, and served in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their dining experience.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality food and service.
- Familiarity with food handling and preparation techniques.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move food and equipment as needed.
- A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
