Description

The skill set of the position should be as follows:

• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Be able to work within various computer programs such as Excel/Word/CUBS/Outlook/Smart-capture
• Learning client portals.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Have an eye for detail.

Tasks:

• Capturing of documents manually and uploading into system.
• Assigns Attorneys to files that need to be forwarded to outside counsel.
• Assembles and forwards client files that cannot be collected in-house to attorneys based on location and state.
• Notates files in CUBS once the attorney has sent an acknowledgment to C&W.
• Pulls reports on possible suit files and provides them to the Legal Forwarder for their review in determining if suit should be suggested to the client.
• Performs other support functions as needed by the Legal Forwarder.
• Supports the Pucin & Friedland Law Office
  • Preparation of all legal docs for lawsuits handled by JSP on Illinois and Ohio cases
  • Electronic filing responsibility for each court pertaining to the lawsuits (including scanning, hard file preparation, etc…)
  • Preparation and electronic filing of all post judgment documents on JSP legal files
  • Correspondence (non-email) preparation for JSP
  • Accounting for JSP legal files
