JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for hands on assembly of medical products and accessories.

Essential Functions

• May be assigned to any of the Generalist I category roles
• Performs manual tasks using basic hand tools, including electric and air tools
• Uses a variety of machinery, as needed
• May operate a forklift, depending on role, to perform tasks
• May be required to take measurements, reads BOMs and drawings, depending on role
• Completes required documentation on all work performed
• Understands and adheres to established safety and quality procedures
• Maintains a clean work area and practices general acceptable housekeeping standards
• Performs all tasks to ISO standards and requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision.

Required Education and Experience

• Basic math skills
• Able to accurately read a tape measure
• Must be able to learn how to read BOMS and drawings
• Overtime and weekend hours, as needed

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Forklift experience, a plus
• Familiarity with ISO procedures
