Job Description:
As a member of the Program Management staff, this position is responsible for daily order status and order processing questions. At the direction of the Program Manager will be responsible for order review, order processing, and quotation processing/coordination and assisting the Program Manager in all customer liaison activities, both commercial and technical. The person in this role must have the ability to assume role of Program Manager as the situation dictates and have the ability to interface with manufacturing, engineering, and procurement departments for order management. In addition, will be responsible for assisting PMs with demand forecasting and scheduling. As support liaison, will review purchase orders, order acknowledgment, invoicing, change order management, RMA’s, and other customer service issues.
Requirements:
AA degree in Business, Marketing or a technical discipline or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 2 years of sales, customer service or project management support experience in a manufacturing environment. Should have strong interpersonal skills to work efficiently with key cross functional disciplines, as well as strong oral/written communication/presentation skills, strong analytical skills, and be able to manage time effectively. Should have data entry experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office and other appropriate project management tools. Knowledge of ERP manufacturing systems and CRM software is also required.
