Business Execution Consultant I

Hybrid - Charlotte, NC

Calculated Hire is in search of a Business Education Consultant I or our Fortune 100 Financial Services company. You will be responsible for the following components:

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Execution Consultant I (BEC I) to join our team for a specialized project. This role involves a range of financial and reconciliation tasks with a strong emphasis on Excel-based analysis and loan knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Excel-Based Reconciliations:
  • Perform three Excel-based reconciliations daily.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records.
  1. Loan IQ General Ledger Reconciliation:
  • Utilize specific tools, including Loan IQ and General Ledger software, for reconciliation tasks.
  • Cross-reference entries and maintain ledger accounts.
  1. Gap Analysis:
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies in data and financial records.
  • Analyze data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  1. Internal Control Policies:
  • Adhere to and implement internal control policies.
  • Maintain and manage ledger accounts in compliance with these policies.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Follow risk management practices to mitigate financial risks.
  • Apply critical thinking and communication skills to manage risks effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Loan Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of various loan types and processes.
  • Experience with Loan IQ software is essential.
  1. Experience with Specific Loan Types:
  • Prioritize candidates with experience in syndicated loans and commercial loans.
  • General loan knowledge is also valuable.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct thorough gap analysis and identify discrepancies.
  • Understanding of internal control policies and risk management practices.
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
