About this role:
Wells Fargo's Strategic Execution and Operations (SEO) Group is seeking an experienced Senior Business Execution Consultant to join the Action Plan Implementation Platform (APIP) Enablement Team supporting a business tool used in regulatory program management execution and governance activities. Join a team with unyielding curiosity in understanding user problems and behaviors creating solutions that delight users, are feasible to build and sustain as well as deliver measurable business value.
This experienced Product Analyst professional will support the APIP Enablement Manager and Product Owner in effectively executing through the product development phases of discovery and delivery. The Product Analyst will determine how to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business problems and user needs, document those in the form of user stories/requirements, opportunity solution trees, etc. and work with the collective APIP team and key stakeholders to solve these problems. This individual will decide how best to develop subject-matter-expertise of the entire tool suite as well as test impactful changes and create user documentation. This individual is expected to bring a strong usability and simplification focus, partnering approach and data/measurement driven mindset. This role will have a significant impact on the usability, business value and effectiveness delivered by the APIP Enablement Team and SEO Teams along with supporting the company's risk management objectives.
A successful Product Analyst will be responsible for the following representative tasks:
Understanding the APIP Business Tool vision and serving as the primary point of contact for user stories/requirements discussions between the Module Owners and APIP Enablement Team. Crafting user stories to capture needs, business process and requirements that are complete, detailed and include adequate acceptance criteria.
Leading design discussions, working with SMEs, to understand and capture functional and non-functional requirements.
Driving test planning and execution activities on the most impactful changes including documenting test plans, writing test scripts and testing.
Partnering with the Product Owner and Delivery Lead to confirm stories are assigned to sprints in accordance with delivery timelines.
Researching and recommending solutions to moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy, Business Execution and project planning skills
Evaluating solutions for efficiency, simplicity, quality and cost effectiveness
Creating and maintaining user documentation
Executing controls as required to mitigate risk
Daily you will be demonstrating:
Knowledge and understanding of product management, agile, Jira and the PowerPlatform
Decision-making, problem-solving, execution orientation, continuous improvement and risk management skills
Experience building partnership and consulting effectively, while maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
Ability to communicate confidentially with strong attention to detail and writing/speaking in facts at varying levels within Wells Fargo
Ability to take initiative, work independently with strong planning, prioritization, and follow-up skills in a structured environment with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications:
4 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of Product Development
Significant Agile and Jira experience
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Ability to conduct interviews and ask meaningful questions to gather requirements in adequate detail for development team members
Extensive knowledge of the PowerPlatform Environment
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously
Ability to operate independently in a Dynamic and complex environment
Desire to continuously learn and grow
A BS/BA degree or higher
Job Expectations:
Ability to work onsite in a hybrid, in office schedule three days a week, at one of the posted locations. Relocation assistance will not be available.
