Calculated Solutions Group is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near Athens, GA

Calculated Solutions Group is looking to hire Low Voltage Technicians for our growing client. As a low voltage technician, you will be expected to install and terminate low voltage cabling, mount devices and material such as electrical boxes and j-hooks, read and understand low voltage drawings, keep a clean working space, be on time and respectful, communicate work that has been completed to the low voltage project managers.

Job Description:

- Pull and terminate RJ45 low voltage cable, such as Coax, and Cat5e.

- Wire mapping and certification of Cat5E and other cables.

- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to communicate production to project managers.

- Ability to work in hot/cold outside environments.

- Install HVAC components and relays inside units.

- Install fire alarm, nurse call and network cabling inside units.

- Label and track low voltage cabling for all different systems.

- Report progress information to low voltage project managers once a week.

Requirements:

- 1 year of low voltage and/or electrical experience.

- Places high importance on organization and attention to detail.

- Can operate basic construction tools, such as a drill, cutters, screwdrivers, etc.

- Must be able to work well on a team.

- Comfortable on a ladder 8ft or taller.

- Willing to learn and take direction well.

- Must be able to travel 75% of the year.

  • Low voltage: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Athens, GA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
