* Primary contact person for the customer. Provides quick response and follow-up to all customer inquiries through phone and/or email communication

* Thorough knowledge of SAP systems for order entry and tracking, working closely with manufacturing to ensure order ships to meet customer's requirements

* Handle all forms of customer inquiries and requests, price quotes and quality complaints/returns

* Maintain and update customer master files, including specifications, correspondence, and pricing to ensure information is current

* Monitor and reconcile customer payment issues, working with credit department and account managers

* Coordinate pickups/bookings with Freight Forwarders

* This position requires an incisive, articulate, professional "thinker", willing to make good and quick decisions on customer matters and able to prioritize work assignments

* Superior communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment

* Travel, meet customers and visit manufacturing plants

**Qualifications**

* BA/BS in business, marketing, or related field, prior customer service experience (3-5 years of experience in lieu of degree)

* Export/Import experience, process knowledge required

* Technical background with the ability to read drawings and customer specifications preferred

* Prior Customer Service experience in manufacturing, glass, pharmaceutical industry preferred

* Supply chain and vendor inventory management experience preferred

* Strong computer skills to create and maintain sales reports, order status reports, quality complaint reports, etc
