California Closets is Hiring a Delivery Driver Near Tualatin, OR
Job DescriptionCalifornia Closets is currently hiring for part-time delivery driver to drive materials between our Tualatin, Oregon Manufacturing Center and our Bend, Oregon Warehouse.
DETAILS:
- Pay $22.00-23.00/hour, DOQ. Expected range of 18-22 hours/week.
- Deliveries typically occur 2x/week, may increase to 3x in the future. 10-hour shifts.
- Currently we deliver on Mondays and Wednesdays (some flexibility to look at a different day as an option, including a weekend day).
- Estimated drive roundtrip is 9-10 hours in one day.
- Driver may start from either location, Tualatin or Bend.
- Transport vehicle is a 2022 box truck with air brakes, under 26,000 lbs
- Driver will load/unload materials at each site using a forklift and/or manual unloading/loading as needed.
- have driving/delivery experience
- can work with a flexible schedule to some extent
- demonstrate consistent on-time and work ethic
- have winter driving experience
- have a clean driving record
- forklift experience a plus
- air brake and/or mechanical experience a plus
- Oregon Driver's License (Required)
- Class C Drivers License. Class A or B is Not required
- Forklift certification (we can certify); experience on a forklift is a plus.
- Ability, comfort and knowledge of how to drive in winter weather through mountain range (Hwy 26 or Santiam Pass). Will be required to put chains on tires in snowy weather.
- We will accommodate shifts in schedule for undriveable weather (ie. blizzard, ice, flooding).
- Comfort and experience with air brakes is a plus.
