Job SummaryPosition: Part-Time Custodian Hours: 11:00AM-3:00PM, 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time custodian assigned to the cafeteria at Sundale School. As a custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the cafeteria and the surrounding cafeteria outdoor area, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our students and staff. Responsibilities: Perform daily cleaning duties within the cafeteria area, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other furniture before and after meal periods. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed. Assist with minor maintenance tasks and notify management of any repairs needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements: Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as necessary. Reliable and punctual attendance.
