Under general supervision of the Information Technology Manager I, you will work in the Enterprise Support Branch (ESB) to provide, technical support to the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) desktop hardware and software applications. This includes the creation and maintenance of DOJ’s desktop computing standards and the day-to-day technology support of DOJ staff and clients.
This unit also creates and maintains user accounts for network access, e-mail and remote access for all DOJ staff. In addition, the ESB manages and/or participates in special technical projects.
You will perform a wide variety of the more complex duties associated with support and ensures the security of the desktop environment throughout the DOJ. You will coordinate and/or serve as a technical project lead for projects assigned to this Section by provides overall direction, analytical and technical expertise relative to the support and services offered by the ESB.
Please note: Occasional travel may be required to provide assistance to DOJ satellite offices and special task forces. In emergency instances, it is possible the incumbent could be placed “on call” throughout the duration of the incident.
