Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a Dermatology medical office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Coordinate patient scheduling, including appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits
- Handle patient inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and improve patient outcomes
- Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping
- Monitor and manage office budget, including billing, coding, and reimbursement processes
- Implement utilization management strategies to optimize resource allocation and control costs
Experience:
- Proven experience in Dermatology medical office management preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical administrative support functions and practice management principles
- Familiarity with Dermatology care processes and procedures
- Experience in budgeting and financial management within a medical setting
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems (e.g., exDerm, EPIC)
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of human resources practices and regulations
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
