California Primary Care Association is Hiring a Senior Administrative Assistant (Hybrid) Near Downtown Sacramento, CA

Association’s Mission: To lead and position community clinics, health centers and networks through advocacy, education, and services as key players in the health care delivery system to improve the health status of their communities.

Purpose of Position: Provide administrative support to Association and assigned staff or departments to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and office support for the Operations Department, including calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting support.
  • Provide administrative support to membership engagement efforts, including coordinating site visits and calendaring member outreach efforts.
  • Serve as the primary administrative support professional for the Training Team, which includes helping coordinate and manage CPCA’s training calendar and request forms, hosting training webinars and speaker prep calls, helping manage on-demand training content, and supporting training marketing efforts as appropriate.
  • Collect and manage training data including participation data, as well as sending, collecting and analyzing immediate evaluation surveys as well as 90-day post-event evaluation surveys.
  • Be able to navigate, use and make changes within CPCA’s Association Management Software (iMIS), various member engagement platforms and on CPCA’s website.
  • Host all partner demonstration webinars.
  • Support both in-person and virtual meetings by developing and sending agendas, taking notes, sending follow-up communication, and managing virtual meeting spaces as needed.
  • Provide back-up support to other department administrative staff and reception as needed.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  1. Schedule meetings and appointments.
  2. Assist with organizational administrative tasks including front desk operations and various administrative support.
  3. Arrange travel and accommodations for multiple staff.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications and platforms and virtual collaboration and meeting tools.
  5. Demonstrates effective time management, organization, and problem-solving ability.
  6. Effective interpersonal and professional skills when engaging with Association membership and Board of Directors, vendors, and partners.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma and a minimum of two years administrative support experience required. Experience with community health centers, member-driven associations or non-profit organizations is preferred. Knowledge of iMIS, SharePoint, SmartSheet, Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom a plus.

Hybrid Expectation:

Due to network security and hybrid work this position requires the employee to have a cell phone with a data plan and home internet service, both are reimbursed at a set rate each month. All hires are required to maintain residence in California and be able to work in an office 3 days a week. Office is in downtown Sacramento.

Compensation: $55,539 – $61,711
