Qualifications

* Equivalent to four (4) years of full-time, general office clerical and administrative support experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge and abilities listed.

* Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in business or job-related fields may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

* Thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing.

* Thorough knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices; and university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Basic knowledge of web design and maintenance and social media platforms.

* Ability and specialized skills to: coordinate many different administrative duties; interpret and apply a variety of complex policies and procedures; set deadlines, and priorities, and complete projects accordingly; draft and compose correspondence and standard reports.

* Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects.

* Ability to maintain confidential files; keep moderately complex records and files; screen mail, telephone calls, and visitors.

* Ability to perform standard business math, such as calculating ratios and percentages, tracking financial data, and making simple projections.

* Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures.

* Ability to apply independently a wide variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist.

* Ability to use and quickly learn new office support technology systems and software packages.

* Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships; and operate standard office equipment and software.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

* The university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver, and more.

* Classification: Administrative Support Coordinator / 1035 / 1

* The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $3680 - $3990 per month, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $3680 - $5783 per month.

* HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday.

* This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.

* The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
