California Sugars is Hiring a Production Operator Near Woodland, CA
PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Shifts 6:00AM to 2:30PM & 2:00pm to 10:30pm M-F
Responsible for all aspects of the packaging department including accurate pack size, accurate case.
labeling, date coding, end and fin seals. Oversees the training of new packaging employees for his/her line. Regulates food safety control points for the packing department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Inspects and logs the temperature and cleanliness of each machine prior to start up.
2. Performs pre-op procedures for metal detector, checkweigher and bagger.
3. Checks the accuracy of each pallet to match the customer’s specifications.
4. Ensures that every case is date-coded and labeled properly.
5. Immediately informs supervisor of any shortages or variances of supplies.
6. Complete daily production reports.
7. Maintains Good Housekeeping Standards by cleaning machines, mopping, sweeping, organizing
and removing trash in the packing area.
8. Performs assigned daily, weekly and monthly cleaning assignments.
9. Immediately cleans up any spills.
10. Ensures all safety procedures are followed.
11. Ensures proper operation of all packaging machinery, including metal detection.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
