Job Title: Lead Line Cook (Country Kitchen)

Callaway Gardens is seeking a highly motivated Lead Line Cook to supervise and work with our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have previous food service experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to perform under pressure while working a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and work alongside culinary employees to ensure the efficient and quality preparation of all food items according to Callaway Gardens specifications
• Ensure visual appeal, taste, and portion size of all food items meet high standards
• Monitor inventory and control the production of food items to minimize waste and maintain proper stock
• Maintain a high level of customer service and work collaboratively with other departments to exceed guest expectations
• Assume complete kitchen supervision in the absence of the Sous Chef

Qualifications:

• Previous food service experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to perform under pressure and work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
