ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Corporate PMO team spearheads transformative growth endeavors spanning people, processes, products, and systems across all Topgolf Callaway brands, aimed at optimizing corporate profitability. As a member of this dynamic team, you'll collaborate with a blend of strategic visionaries and execution experts, driving forward critical scaling initiatives. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating the seamless execution of projects within diverse brands and functions, all while leading transformative efforts to enhance the business and fuel expansion.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Program Manager at Topgolf Callaway Brands within the Corporate PMO, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating an array of cross-brand and cross-functional projects. Your primary objective will be to meticulously ensure that each initiative aligns seamlessly with our strategic objectives while maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with multifaceted teams, adeptly navigating project complexities, managing resources, and propelling timelines forward to achieve exemplary outcomes. Your responsibilities will extend beyond project management; you will be an integrator of efforts, leveraging intuition, creativity, and analytical acumen to drive synergistic initiatives forward.
Success in this role demands proficiency in process improvement methodologies and a refined ability to craft compelling narratives that inspire and align stakeholders toward collective goals. Strong leadership attributes will be important as you navigate challenges, motivate team members, and drive project objectives. Your communication skills (verbal and written/visual) will be paramount, enabling you to articulate visions, convey strategic directives, and foster stakeholder collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the program management team.
  • Collaborate with the Director of PMO to define project goals, scope, and success criteria aligned with broader strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the ideation, planning, execution, and monitoring of cross-brand transformational projects from initiation to completion.
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and visual communication skills to effectively convey complex information, project updates, and strategic initiatives to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel internationally for onsite planning and program development with key business leads and their core teams.
  • Define project plans, timelines, and resource requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and budget constraints.
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities for project team members and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and accountable environment.
  • Engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders across various brands and functional areas, including senior leadership, department heads, and project sponsors.
  • Address stakeholder concerns, conflicts, and resistance to change through proactive communication and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across different brands and departments to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to foster idea exchange, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure smooth coordination and integration of activities.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery or outcomes and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively addressing any deviations from the plan.
  • Anticipate and manage changes in project scope, schedule, or resources effectively to minimize disruptions.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms and lessons-learned processes to capture insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, status updates, and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Tailor communication strategies to effectively engage diverse audiences and ensure understanding of project objectives and progress.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio, web-based tools (Asana), and Atlassian (Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong organizational and motivational skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with all levels of management, technical resources, and external contacts.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required specifically with cross-functional teams.
  • Builds effective relationships, uses diplomacy and tact, and can diffuse high-tension situations comfortably.
  • Ability to address and resolve people, process, or resource issues in a fast-paced, multiple-priority environment.
  • Can negotiate skillfully and in tough situations with internal and external groups, has a good sense of timing, and is a good listener.
  • Makes decisions on time, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience in a cross-functional environment or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently succeeding in the development and delivery of complex programs/projects.
  • College degree
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and evident potential for professional growth.
