Position summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team. This person would be part of a small newly formed FP&A team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial planning and analysis activities, providing valuable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making processes within the organization.

Position responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the FP&A Manager in the development of comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide insights to support executive decision-making.
• Prepare and present insightful financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
• Collaborate with FP&A Manager and cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and inputs for accurate and timely financial forecasting.
• Work closely with various departments to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives. Evaluate the financial impact of proposed projects and investments.
• Be engaged in the development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models to aid in scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and long-term planning.
• Act as a financial advisor to senior leadership, offering recommendations and insights on financial strategies and operational improvements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and analytical methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and operations, to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.
• Collaborate with other groups to audit financial results and provide assurance on revenue and margins.

Essential skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
• 3-5 years of FP&A experience or related experience.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience in financial software systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and influence key stakeholders.
