We are seeking an Associate Director for our growing non-profit agency, located north of Concord, NH near the Lakes Region. This person reports directly to and works in regular collaboration with the Executive Director to ensure the smooth running of all programs and operations including Property Maintenance and Housing.
Responsible for oversight of all programs and operations of the Agency while maintaining the core values of the Agency: Integrity, Compassion, Professionalism, and Respect and helping to grow the cohesive team. Work closely with the Executive Director regarding the status of daily operations, progress toward annual individual goals, and progress towards agency wide strategic goals. The Associate Director will assist the Executive Director and fulfill the duties of the Executive Director when necessary. Responsible for all compliance record keeping and periodic reporting for each funding source regulating the Agency. Participate in the development of properties and programs as opportunities present themselves working with the Board’s approval. Develop essential local, state, and national contacts with individuals and organizations involved in funding, regulating, and overseeing the Agency.
Must be able to manage multiple situations, projects and staff of various skill levels and be able to assist with developing team members skills to achieve success. Must be able to research and thoroughly understand Federal, State and local housing laws, HUD rules and the Agency’s Administrative Plans. Must have experience in development and administration of an annual budget, strong management, employee relations, computer (MS Office) and communication skills. Public Housing and or Property Management experience is a strong plus. Experience working with a Board or senior level oversight is preferred. Must have a valid NH Driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance. Occasional travel is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or Management and a minimum of ten years of personnel and program management experience or a Master’s degree and five years of related experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
