OCD Clinician (W2/employee position) 

About CalmOCD

CalmOCD is a new mental health private practice opening in Salt Lake City. CalmOCD has two other locations, in Scottsdale and Tucson. CalmOCD specializes in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Phobias, and co-occurring depression. We utilize a variety of exposure-based treatments to help our clients work through their OCD and help build a solid foundation to combat their anxiety and compulsive behaviors.

About the Role

Full-time mental health therapist position in private practice. You will be one of the first individuals to join this new private practice. You have a desire to treat individuals across the lifespan; especially adolescents and teens using the most recent evidence-based treatment. An attitude of fostering growth, positivity, and a passion to help those in need is a must. Individual must be willing to provide in-person, telehealth sessions, and in the community and home visits when appropriate.

Clinician will assist patients with :

• Clinical review to determine appropriate diagnosis
• Educating patients and their families on anxiety diagnosis
• Providing evidence-based treatment to all patients
• Consulting with additional clinicians/psychiatrists when appropriate

Clinical staff must support a positive work culture, have an eagerness to learn and adapt to research in the field. Clinicians will be supported regularly with ongoing specialized training with experienced OCD provider.

Who We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate level therapist
• Clinical/Independently licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family therapist or Psychologist desired for this position
• Must be clinically licensed and in good standing with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners/Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners
• Provide confidential and non-judgmental services to patients
• Consistently maintain HIPAA compliant patient records
• Must be eager to join a private practice team, while practicing self-autonomy and utilizing support when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years in the treatment of mental health disorders
• Experience treating anxiety disorders with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness based treatments (MBCT)
• Licensure in Arizona and additional states
