This position is eligible for annual and long-term incentive awards. The annual incentive opportunity is 0-120% of salary and is based on the level of achievement against several quantitative and qualitative measures. The long-term incentive program provides an additional opportunity of 80-120% of base salary beginning after five years and when absolute total fund returns meet or exceed board-approved thresholds.

Job Description And Duties

Our CalPERS Global Public Equity (GPE) team is seeking a talented Global Public Equity Strategist to serve as Investment Director of Equity Portfolio Design & Analytics and lead the applied equity research, portfolio analytics and capital allocation functions of the $200B global public equity portfolio.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Serve as a member of the executive leadership of GPE, leading and managing the governance process in developing overall investment strategy for GPE, specifically related to equity portfolio design, capital allocation, risk management, and performance attribution
• Oversee and direct applied equity research, analysis, valuation frameworks, and other methods and tools for supporting the GPE portfolio strategy and design
• Oversee the design and/or acquisition of tools for analyzing portfolio risk, performance evaluation and attribution analysis.
• Oversee the production and application of analytics to support the investment management process, portfolio construction and investment research

Telework Information: This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
