Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement data integration solutions to consolidate data from multiple sources into AWS Redshift or other data warehouses.
- Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda for real-time data processing.
- Utilize AWS Glue for data cataloging, preparation, and transformation.
- Monitor and manage data pipeline performance using AWS CloudWatch.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and queries using AWS Athena.
- Manage and secure data storage in AWS S3.
- Collaborate with the team using AWS Cloud9 for integrated development.
- Deploy and manage machine learning models using AWS SageMaker.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services, including AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift, S3, AWS Cloud9, and SageMaker.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and schema design.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse solutions.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or other relevant AWS certifications.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
- Experience with other data analytics and visualization tools.
