Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems, leveraging LLMs where applicable.
- Utilize AWS services to build, train, and deploy ML models efficiently.
- Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and other AWS services.
- Use AWS SageMaker for model training, tuning, and deployment.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to support model development.
- Implement data visualization solutions using AWS QuickSight to present findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor and optimize model performance and data workflows using AWS CloudWatch.
- Perform data querying and analysis using AWS Athena and manage data storage in AWS S3.
- Utilize AWS Cloud9 for collaborative development and debugging.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on machine learning and natural language processing (NLP), including LLMs.
- Proficiency in AWS services, including AWS QuickSight, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift, S3, AWS Cloud9, and SageMaker.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or other relevant AWS certifications.
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools for CI/CD in machine learning.
- Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
- Experience with other data analytics and visualization tools.
- Publications or contributions to the machine learning or NLP research community.
