Job Details

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems, leveraging LLMs where applicable.
  • Utilize AWS services to build, train, and deploy ML models efficiently.
  • Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines using AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and other AWS services.
  • Use AWS SageMaker for model training, tuning, and deployment.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to support model development.
  • Implement data visualization solutions using AWS QuickSight to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and optimize model performance and data workflows using AWS CloudWatch.
  • Perform data querying and analysis using AWS Athena and manage data storage in AWS S3.
  • Utilize AWS Cloud9 for collaborative development and debugging.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on machine learning and natural language processing (NLP), including LLMs.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including AWS QuickSight, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift, S3, AWS Cloud9, and SageMaker.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or other relevant AWS certifications.
  • Experience with MLOps practices and tools for CI/CD in machine learning.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
  • Experience with other data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Publications or contributions to the machine learning or NLP research community.
