The CalSTRS Procurement Management Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst in the Travel, Outreach, Partners & Reporting Unit.

The Procurement Management Division serves as a collaborative conduit between the vendor community and CalSTRS business areas to secure competitive pricing from the most qualified providers to transparently fulfill the needs of our customers. We endeavor to provide excellent customer service through teamwork, system expertise and support.

The Travel, Outreach, Partners & Reporting Unit formulates statewide reports and delivers training and assistance to CalSTRS’ travelers, requisitioners and vendors.

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining contract data for reporting purposes and supporting all phases of the internal and external business outreach process in support of California State Teachers’ Retirement System business areas and external business partners.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Experience analyzing data and presenting ideas, information, and materials.
• Experience resolving complex issues.
• Experience developing and implementing a new process, system, or program.
• Experience motivating others to achieve departmental goals.
• Experience maintaining division information on Internet or Intranet and SharePoint Sites.
• Experience communicating, both orally and in writing, with internal and/or external customers.
• Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning software systems.
• Experience preparing procurement related documents.

Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.

Telework Information: CalSTRS offers a hybrid approach including in-office and remote work solutions with staff working on-site at our Headquarters in West Sacramento 2 days per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,684.00 - $7,114.00 per month
