Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in acute care settings, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of sterile processing and adherence to strict infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment.
• Prepare and operate sterilization equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Assemble and organize surgical instrument trays and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies.
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.

Requirements:

• More than 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience in acute care settings.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) Certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
